Terms of Service

vital is a preventive health service. We send a trained clinician to your address, draw blood, have it analysed by a licensed laboratory, and present the results with reference ranges and an interpretation.

We are not your doctor and we do not diagnose or treat you. Nothing in the app is medical advice or a substitute for seeing a physician. A result outside its reference range is a reason to talk to a doctor, not a diagnosis. If you feel unwell, seek care — do not wait for a test.

You must be 18 or over to hold an account, and the information you give us has to be accurate — results are interpreted against your age and sex, so a wrong date of birth produces a wrong interpretation.

Your account is yours alone. Do not let someone else use it: their results would be filed against your medical history.

A membership covers a set number of blood draws a year and a defined panel of biomarkers, both shown on the plan before you buy. Tests outside that panel can be added to any visit and are charged separately.

Prices are in Egyptian pounds and include VAT at the rate shown at checkout. A membership can be paid in full for the year, or in instalments where the plan offers them, in which case the schedule is shown before you pay.

Memberships do not renew automatically unless you switch renewal on. If an instalment payment fails we will retry it over the following days and tell you; if it still cannot be collected after a grace period, access is suspended until the arrears are cleared rather than cancelled outright.

Visits are available in Greater Cairo, in the time windows shown when you book. You can move or cancel a visit in the app at any time before it starts, at no charge.

Please be at the address you gave, and follow any preparation we tell you about — some tests require fasting and a result from an unfasted sample can be misleading. If nobody is there when the clinician arrives, we will contact you to rebook.

Our clinician may decline to draw blood where doing so would be unsafe. If that happens you are not charged for the visit.

Results come from a licensed laboratory and we present them as the lab reports them. Some tests are not numeric — a titer, a genotype, a written report — and those are shown as the lab's own result rather than converted into a number.

We do not guarantee a turnaround time we do not control. If a sample fails at the lab we will re-draw it at no cost to you.

Payments are taken through Kashier, our payment provider. Your card details are entered on their hosted checkout and never reach our systems.

A charge only grants what it paid for once our payment provider confirms it to us directly. If a payment is later reversed, refunded or charged back, the access it bought ends.

You can cancel at any time. What that refunds, if anything, is set out in the refund policy.

We may suspend or close an account that is being used fraudulently, used to obtain tests for someone else, or used in a way that puts our clinicians at risk. Where we do, anything you have paid for and not received is refunded.

If we change these terms in a way that affects what you have already bought, we will tell you before it takes effect, and the terms you agreed to at the time continue to apply to that purchase.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Egypt have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
